Privacy Policy

1. What this covers

This policy explains what Picklers collects when you browse the directory, submit or edit a listing, or create an account, and how that information is used.

2. Information we collect

Account information. If you sign in, we store your email, display name, and any handle you set, via Supabase Auth.

Listing submissions. When you add or edit a court, we store the contact email and name you provide, so we can follow up if something needs clarifying.

Anonymous usage signals. To understand demand — which courts people try to contact, and whether they'd want live availability — we store an anonymous, randomly generated ID in your browser's local storage. It isn't linked to your name or account.

Hashed IP address. We hash (never store raw) the IP address behind feedback and contact-click activity, purely as an abuse-prevention signal.

3. Cookies and third parties

Picklers uses a small number of third-party services that may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in.
• Vercel Analytics — aggregate, privacy-respecting traffic analytics.
• Google AdSense — serves ads on the site and may use cookies to personalize them. You can review or opt out of ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.

4. How we use this information

We use it to operate and improve the directory: publishing listings, following up on submissions, understanding which courts and features people actually want, and keeping the site free of abuse. We don't sell personal data.

5. Your choices

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to reset your anonymous usage ID. If you have an account, you can contact us to have it deleted.

6. Children's privacy

Picklers isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows. Continued use of Picklers after a change means you accept the updated policy.
